The Escapist A car door slammed outside as I awoke. The first few seconds of grogginess quickly gave way to panic as I realized the severity of escaping and escaping now. I was bound to the chair in which I sat, placed in the back of the empty room, the sunlight falling in from over my shoulders. Thanks to a friend here on dA, I got back into the Megas a bit lately. Started tooling around with this to post on their forums and then decided to try to make it a full-blown desktop background to mixed results.

Haven't uploaded anything in awhile. Don't expect that to change.

The ending scene to MM2 was always pretty meaningful to me. Mega puts down his helmet and the song that plays is really kind of mournful/regretful as he walks through the seasons, seeming to reflect. It's a powerful ending if you read into it, but then they went on to make nine more games after that, so it loses some.

Still, if Megaman did it, who's to say Protoman didn't do it first? And maybe he actually did just stop.

Designed for 1920x1080 desktops. If you have anything else, you'll probably lose pixel-perfection quality, but, since you aren't me, you probably won't mind much.

Considering doing in the other seasons shown in the ending. Should I?

Hah, really? I didn't think my stupid pixel-art would make anyone stop for thought. Thanks.

I just might. I found an easy way to do it in MS Paint, which is the -only- real way to do pixel art on a computer. You wouldn't believe how much work went into this that shouldn't have. XD

It has a bit of a poignant air about it somehow..that's how I'd describe it haha.

I've never been a pixel artist but I can appreciate the time it would take to get something like this working right..all the more reason to appreciate it
